JD-U will win 12 seats, claims intending candidate

Kakching, November 22 2021: Janata Dal United (JD-U) intending candidate for Kakching AC in the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election Naorem Nabachandra has said that JD (U) would bag at least 12 seats in the upcoming election and play a crucial role in the government formation.

Nabachandra stated this during opening of JD-U election core committee office at Kakching Wairi Thongam Leikai Monday.

Addressing the gathering, Nabachandra explained that JD-U is a major political party of India going together with'BJP and the party is taking a big role in NDA government at the Centre.

Accordingly, the party would be crucial in government formation with BJP after the 2022 election, he said and disclosed that the party would field 15 to 20 candidates in the upcoming election and 12 of them are expected to be victorious and join in government formation.

JD (U) Election Core Committee Kakching convener Shougaijam Inaobi Meitei, president Naorem Ishing-chaoba and other leaders of the party also attended the event.
