AR aids kids, saves snake bite victim

Moreh Battalion of IGAR (South) extended essential commodities, masks, gloves, sanitizers and daily use items for use by children inmates of JJ Children's Home Moreh on Friday.
According to PRO IGAR(S), the children and home staffers were also educated about Covid-19 protocols like maintaining social distancing, wearing of masks and regular washing of hands to safeguard themselves.
On tthe other hand Khoupum Battalion of IGAR (South) extended life-saving medical assistance to a snake bite victim of L Khunou village, Noney district on Thursday.
Bitten by venomous snake, the 29-year old male was rushed by the Villagers with symptoms of bleeding and vomiting to the medical centre of L Khunou Company Operating Base where the medical team immediately rendered lifesaving medical care to the patient and stabilized his condition.
He was then referred to RIMS Imphal for further treatment, said the PRO in another release.
