Imphal, July 20 2022: Shangshak Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (S) extended life saving medical assistance to a road accident victim of Ringhui village, Ukhrul district on July 20 .

A release issued by PRO of IGAR(S) informed that a 37 year old woman, Green Rose was hit by a speeding vehicle on July 20 and suffered severe injury.

The injured lady was rushed by villagers to Assam Rifles Medical hospital at Shangshak and was rendered life saving medical care to stabilize her condition.

Later; the lady was referred to civil hospital for further treatment.

Moreover, Khoupum Battalion also provided medicaj assistance to a snake bite victim of Irangbam village, Bishnupur district on July 20 .

A 59 year old woman was rushed to Assam Rifles Medical Aid Post at N Khunou, Bishnupur after she was bitten by a snake on July 20 .

The medical team immediately rendered medical care to stabilize her condition.

The women then referred to RIMS Hospital for further evaluation and ' monitoring.
