MST to operate special service for I-Day

Imphal, August 13 2022: Manipur State Transport (MST) will operate its buses from 7 am sharp at different locations for transportation of public to attend the Independence Day celebration at Hapta Kangjeibung on August 15 .

In a notification, Transport director Dr Nivedita Lairenlakpam informed that pickup points for transportation of general public shall be at MU Gate, Airport Gate, Naoremtheng, Mantripukhri, Khurai Lamlong Bazar, Tera Bazar and Top Khongnangkhong.

In another notification, the director informed that MST will launch Somdal-Imphal Bus service on August 16 from its Moirangkhom office premises at 1 pm.

The service will be made available with an objective of providing safe, reliable, affordable and sustainable public transport service, she added.
