Sit-in condemns abduction attempt

Imphal, October 12 2024: In denunciation of the attempt to abduct one Rk Ichanthoibi by unknown persons, Women Welfare Association and Western Star Club, Langjing Achouba organised sit-in protest at Langjing Achouba on Saturday.

A large banner inscribed 'We condemn attempt to abduct Rk Ichanthoibi', 'Return the mobile phone of Rk Ichanthoibi' and 'Arrest those involved in the abduction bid' was put up at the protest venue.

Speaking on the sidelines, one Kh Sobita condemned the attempt to abduct Ichanthoibi at gun point and robbing her mobile phone.

The protestor also urged for an opportunity to clear misunderstanding, if any, through peaceful means.

Similarly, Amudon Akham Leikai Apunba Lup condemned the abduction attempt and snatching the mobile phone of Ichanthoibi by the unknown persons.
