Thoubal, December 10 2021: Khangabok MLA O Surjakumar on Friday inaugurated the Yakaipung community hall at Lamding Nashikhong constructed from his MLA Local Area Development Fund 2020-21 .

The inauguration programme organised by Yakaipung Thoupang Lup was attended by Surjakumar as chief guest and Lup president Laikhuram Baldeva Meitei as president, while Khangabok former MLA O Landhoni, Lamding Wangjing Municipal Council councillors Laishram Sanjit (ward number 1), Sagol-sem Shanti (WN-2), Yumnam Ibopishak (WN-3) and Slope-land Higher Secondary School founder Nahakpam Babulin Meitei were present as guests of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Surjakumar, while highlighting that it is necessary for every community to preserve own traditions, culture and way of living, appealed to all the communities settling in the state to work for preservation and propagation of their traditions and culture.
