Imphal, June 10 2021: An online one day awareness programme on the topic 'Right to Education of Children and Free and Competent Legal Aid for SCs/STs' was conducted today as a part of the Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav via JITSI Meet application with the students of IMS Law College, Chingmeirong.

The programme was organised by District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Imphal East under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) .

RK Memcha, District and Sessions Judge, Imphal East, N Lanleima, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal East and Ojesh Mutum, Member Secretary of MASLSA attended the programme.

Advocate Ch Momon spoke as a resource person on the topic 'Free and Competent Legal Aid for SCs/STs and Right to Education of Children'.

Later an interactive session was held between the Chairman and secretary of DLSA, Imphal East, resource persons and participants.
