Kakching, October 02 2024: Like Minded Group (LMG), Manipur on Wednesday provided assistance of Rs 2000 and edibles to the family of one and half year old Maibam Malem, who had gone missing on Tuesday only to be found drowning in Wangjing river.

In a release, LMG assistant secretary Rameshwar Elangbam informed that a team comprising publicity secretary Rakesh Naorem, secretary Ojit Sorokhaibam, executive members Roshan Moirangthem, Surjit Ngan-gom, Boinam Maibam and Surjami Sharma visited the deceased child's place at Wangjing Awang Leikai and handed over the assistance to his parents M Tampha (32) and Kavita (31), and grandmother Sumo and shared the grief of the family.
