SP leads cleanliness drive at Ima Keithel

Imphal, June 30 2022: Home Guard personnel of 2nd battalion led by SP Imphal West Ksh Shivkanta conducted a cleanliness drive in and around Ima Keithel, here on Thursday morning.

Speaking on the occasion, the SP informed that the cleanliness drive is a monthly activity taken up on every first day of the Meetei lunar month by the home guard personnel with the objective to promote cleanliness.

He also appealed to vendors and customers to contribute in keeping the market area neat and clean.

Shop owners pan also install dustbins in front of their respective shops, he said.

Manipur Home Guard Employees' Association president Y Mangi said that apart from the Ima Keithel sheds, they will also conduct similar programmes in other public places.
