Distribution of relief items continues

Tnp/Chd/Tbl/Kak, May 31 2021: To mark the completion of 7 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Government, HS Benjamin Mate, former BJP Lok Sabha Candidate and State spokesperson handed over rice, face masks and potatoes to 22 village chiefs of Tengnoupal district at a programme held in Zion village.

The relief items would be distributed to the widows and poor families of Molnoi, Kotlenphai, Saichang, Wajang, phaijang, Munjang, Zion, Khaosat, Lhangnom, Keipham, Peljang, Phaichambung, Moldenphai, Tuisomjang, Molnom, Thingkangbung, C Gamnom, Lhunnajang, Tuinom, Pangbul and T Tuisomjang.

Benjamin Mate also handed over 5 bags of 50 Kg rice to Maring Student's Union leaders to distribute in the containment zone of Machi Block Tengnoupal District.

As a preventive measure against COVID-19, Yaipha Thourang Thbusillup (YTT), Moreh Khunou Leikai distributed face masks, sanitizers, and soaps to the people.

YTT extended their appreciation to Ksh Parfulo Meitei and Bim Paonam for providing the face masks and sanitizers.

Similarly, volunteers and workers of BJP Chandel District and BJP 41-Chandel Mandal also provided essential items on May 30 to 59 villages of the district in connection with the celebration of 7 years completion of Modi Government.

The relief items were sponsored by SS Olish, former BJP candidate of 41/Chandel AC(ST) .

The team was led by Sk Angshel, president BJP Chandel along with Lovehring Lamkang, president BJP Mahila Morcha Chandel, Hutten Changring Anal, president BJP 41 Chandel Mandal, Kokoson Anal, president YUWA Morcha 41 Chandel.

As a part of the Seva Hi Sangathan II, local volunteers under the supervision of Laishram Thanil Meitei, former candidate of 32/Wangkhem Assembly constituency and incharge Department for Coordination of Trust BJP Manipur Pradesh,, also distributed food items to the household in the containment zone of Yairipok Khoirom Mathak Leikai, Khoirom Mayai Leikai, Yairipok Huidrom Leikai, Yairipok Bishnunaha, Charangpat under Wangkhem AC.

Meanwhile, in continuation of the assistance provided to the people, social worker Shakir Ahmed and intending candidate of Manipur Assembly election for Wabagai AC, in association with the volunteers of Friendship Sporting Club, Kakching Phousupat Leikai distributed essential food items to the households in the containment zone of Wabagai Assembly Constituency today.
