Govt employees asked to get jabbed

Imphal, January 31 2022: In view of the upcoming State Assembly Election, 2022, Imphal East District Election Officer Khumanthem Diana directed all the government employees who have been assigned election duty and have completed 90 days after the second dose of vaccination to get the precautionary/booster dose.

Further, employees yet to take any dose/whose 2nd dose is due have been directed to have the required dose.

In an order, the DEO informed that a dedicated medical team will be stationed for three days in DC office complex, Porompat with effect from Tuesday to ensure that all the government employees who would be on election duty are administered precautionary/booster dose of Covid-19 .

A dedicated team has been stationed at SP Office Complex, Porompat for vaccination of police personnel from Monday till February 4, she added.
