Rangkhung Market Shed inaugurated

Huri Golmei, who is BJP Manipur Pradesh state executive member and intending candidate for the upcoming assembly election from Tamenglong assembly constituency, on Thursday inaugurated the Rangkhung village market shed.
The programme was also attended by former ADC member Kaniangmei Riamei, Rangkhung Village Authority members and Peih/youth leaders of Rangkhung village.
During the programme, Rangkhung village chief R Chamei delivered the welcome note and presented gifts to the dignitaries present, while a dedication prayer for the market shed was offered by Rangkhung-1 Baptist Church pastor Thonimei Kamei.
Speaking on the occasion, Huri Golmei highlighted his election manifesto which included women empowerment, alternative arrangements for jhum cultivation especially for Tamenglong and Noney districts, improvement of education sector, medical, transportation and connectivity.
The programme concluded with a word of appreciation by Peih member Chunkei-lung Malangmei on behalf of the villagers and closing prayer led by Rangkhung-2 Baptist Church pastor Kaningpan Thaimei Pastor.
It can be mentioned that construction of Rangkhung Market Shed was funded by Huri Golmei and executed by Tribeni Private Limited special contractor Kalanchong Kamei.
