Imphal, August 28 2022: Star Kamei's trilingual book (Kabui, Manipuri and English) titled 'Keishamthong in the heart of Imphal city' was released during a function held at Keishamthong Kabui community hall on Sunday.

The book release function was attended by Rajya Sabha MP Sanajaoba Leisemba as chief guest, Keishamthong Kabui Khul Banza Pou Tomba Golmei as president and Sagolband MLA Rk Imo as guest of honour.

Speaking at the function, MP Sanajaoba Leishemba noted that Kabui community occupies a large space in the history of Manipur.

A Kabui village in nearby area is a must for establishing a palace.

Similarly, Mahabali Kabui Khul is there near Sana Konung, he pointed out.

Stating that the recent visiting and paying tributes to Govindaji temple by Kabui elders was historic, he said that such act will strengthen the bond of love between the hills and the valley.

The new book of Star Kamei will become a 'Puya' in the time to come and the contents will be very useful for the future generations, Sanajaoba added.
