H Dingo inspects mobile vaccination drive at Kanglatongbi

Imphal, June 26 2021:
Co-convenor of Joint Committee of COVID-19 and MLA of Sekmai AC, H Dingo Singh inspected the mobile vaccination programme for COVID-19 conducted at Kanglatongbi Hindi Secondary School today.
Speaking on the occasion, H Dingo said that mobile vaccination drives is being taken up by the Government with an aim to vaccinate all in order to protect them from the deadly pandemic and not to gain any political mileage.
Expressing concern over the detection of dangerous forms of COVID-19 variants and the probability of the onset of the third wave of the pandemic, he appealed to all to avail the benefits of such vaccination drives rather than regretting in future.
He also requested the local clubs, meira paibis and CSOs to help in spreading awareness regarding Covid vaccination and sensitize the public accordingly.
Around 1000 (one thousand) individuals were vaccinated during the vaccination programme which began yesterday.
H Dingo also stated that more than 15, 300 (Fifteen thousand and three hundred) have been vaccinated in the 3 Primary Health Centres in Sekmai AC till date.
In today's inspection visit, pradhan of Kanglatongbi Gram Panchayat, MOs of Sekmai and Khurkhul PHC and OC of Sekmai PS accompanied the MLA.
