Imphal, May 24 2021:
Communist Party of India, Uripok Local Council urged the Government to distribute free ration for the month of May and June which was announced by the Government.
In a statement issued today, Uripok Local Council said in first wave of the pandemic, the Government provided not just free rice but lentils and other edibles and in the wake of the second wave decision-was taken to distribute 5kg of rice per person for the month of May and June.
However, this said ration has not been distributed in Uripok AC.
