Imphal, November 20 2021: Angom Ningthou Preservation and Documentation Centre, Uripok on Saturday released four books authored by Kunjolal Yendrembam titled "Sanakonung amasung Ngangbi Maharani", "Bodhchandra Maharaj Leimashijasing", "Maharajkumari Binodini", and a historical novel, "Leimapatki Thariktha", in a function held at Manipur Hindi Parishad hall, Old Assembly Road here.

Presided over by Manipur University of Culture assistant professor Makhonmani Mongshaba, the book releasing function was attended by ex-Commissioner (Art and Culture) RK Nimai, MU Dean of Humanities Nahakpam Arun and Manipur department associate professor Koijam Shantibala as presidium members.

On the other hand, Manipur Sahitya Samiti, Thoubal released 'Laman Makhak', a book penned by Samom Raghumani at Manipur Hindi Parishad hall on Friday.

As part of the function, Sahitya Akademi Yuva Purushkar-2020 awardee Rameshwar Sarungbam was also felicitated.
