CRPF organises free medical camp

Imphal, November 19 2021:
A team of 109 BN CRPF under the aegis of IG Manipur and Nagaland sector conducted a civic action programme at Langthabal Chingkha village under Imphal West district on Friday.
As a part of the programme a free medical check-up drive was conducted under the supervision of GDMO Dr Premlata P and medical officer Dr Th Kanta Singh of the battalion.
The team also distributed free medicines to the needy and poor people of the village.
Battalion commandant Bal Krishna Ram attended the inauguration programme of the camp as chief guest in the presence of Langthabal Chingkhei Youth Club president Phaomei Majasingpu; secretary Kamei Gairinlung, joint secretary Phaomei Kabidon, deputy commandants Kiyam Rajiv Singh and Parvindap Kaur, assistant commandant Alex L Kophom and officials and personnel of 109 BN.
The commandant thanked the village authority for giving them the opportunity to help the needy and unhealthy people.
He also assured that CRPF will continue to serve the people of the state by carrying such humanitarian activities.
He also reminded that COVID-19 pandemic is not completely under control and advised all to continue wearing face mask, maintain social distancing and practice a good standard of hygiene.
