Mass Covid vaccination conducted at Kakching

Kakching, June 12 2021:
In view of the rising COVID-19 positive cases in the State, District Health Department Kakching and IYA Kakching Wairi under the supervision of Kakching Assembly Constituency MLA, Mayanglambam Rameshwar conducted a mass vaccination for the people of the age group 45 years & above at Kakching Wairi Kongoi Community Hall today.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayanglambam Rameshwar stated that the mass vaccination drive was organised to vaccinate the people of Kakching Municipal Council Ward No 1 & 4 under Kakching AC and Wabagai AC.
The MLA also extended his appreciation to the doctors, nurses, health workers and volunteers of local COVID-19 Task forces for their hard work and sacrifices.
He continued that the number of COVID-19 positive cases and fatality would decrease if all the people are vaccinated by the end of June while stating that about 18,000 people of the constituency have been vaccinated so far.
He mentioned that the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister, N Biren Singh has initiated a number of schemes and preventive measures to combat the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.
Mayanglambam Rameshwar further urged the people to follow all the SOPs mandated by the State Government and to come forward for Covid vaccination.
