BJP Govt must for development: H Dingo

Imphal, June 09 2022: Social welfare minister Heikham Dingho Singh has emphasised that people must ensure strong BJP government at the centre and in the state so that Manipur could become prosperous and developed.

Speaking in a programme held to mark 8 years of the BJP government at the centre at Keirak Kethek Lampak community hall on Thursday, Dingo contended that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ensured that peace and development prevails in the state.

He emphasised that with the coming of the chief minister N Biren led BJP government in the state, the atmosphere of fear of security forces that dominated the 15 years of Congress rule has gone and normalcy restored in the state.

The minister also highlighted various welfare schemes and development works taken up by the BJP government along with implementing ILP and naming of Mount Harriet in Andaman and Nicobar Islands as Mount Manipur.

The function was also attended by BJP state president A Sharda Devi, Hiyanglam MLA Y Radheshyam Singh, Wabagai MLA U Deben Singh and other BJP workers.
