MMCRC celebrates 11th foundation day

Imphal, January 09 2025: Membi Leima Meitei Cultural Research Centre (MMCRC) celebrated its 11th foundation day at Thoupang Shanglen in Takyel Khongban Khumanthem Leikai on Thursday.

The celebration was attended by AIR director N Nanda Kumar as chief guest, and Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board vice-president Bidyapati Senjam as the president while senior member K Imocha, Manipur University of Culture deputy registrar Dr L Surjit, Meitei Sanamahi Masha Loishang N Hemba and Dawn Public High School principal Y Open attended guests of honours.

Centre founder Saikhom Membi, Leima also attended the celebration.

During the celebration, around 22 artistes were honoured with awards by the Centre.
