Assam Rifles hosts literary meet, aids students

Assam Rifles, in collaboration with NGO Wise Crabs organised the fifth edition of the "INQUIZTIVE" literary function in Chandel district on October 4.According to PRO IGAR (S), the event aimed at fostering creativity, critical thinking and holistic development in the youth was participated by over 320 students of various schools in the region.
Competitions such as quiz, debating, drawing, poem recitation and elocution were held as part of the event.
On the other han'd, Assam Rifles organised a three-day training from October 3 focused on appearing interview for Services Selection Board (SSB) for 14 students of Sainik School, Imphal who have successfully cleared the NDA written exam.
These young aspirants represent hope for a brighter future and are a testament to the talent emerging from the state, the PRO said in another release.
Informing that the training was imparted by a team with SSB experience, the PRO added that the personal guidance of the trainers including a psychologist assisted the aspirants understand the structure of the SSB interview and build their confidence through mock tests.
The trainers also delivered a motivational lecture to around 100 students from grades 11 and 12, encouraging them to consider a career in the Armed Forces, the PRO added.
