Offices locked against transfer of SP

Thoubal, December 01 2023: As a part of the protest against the transfer of Thoubal SP Sachidananda Soibam and his replacement by a non-local officer, Meira Paibi groups of Thoubal district on Friday locked down offices located inside the Thoubal DC complex.

In a release, Thoubal Apunba Meira Paibi Lup condemned the transfer of Sachidananda Soibam, who was recently posted in the district as SP and replacing him by a non-local.

The meira paibi activists then locked the offices denouncing transfer of Sachidananda.

The agitated Meira Paibi groups cautioned that they will launch intense protests if the government ignores the demand of the people.
