Senapati, November 30 2021:
A book entitled, "The Natural Justice' written by Pamreingam Longpinao was released by SP Senapati M Pradip Singh at SP Office, Senapati in the presence of district police officers on Monday.
Mention may be made here that the author, Pamreingam Longpinao is a Tangkhul tribe born at Choithar village in Ukhrul district.
He is currently working as deputy SP and posted as sub-divisional police officer at Mao, Senapati district.
What made Pamreingam to write the book was that as he has been posted at Mao and having seen the impressive State Level Cherry Blossom Festival, 2019 held at Song Song, Mao Gate, he realised that Mao Blagas know fully well about the value and beauty of nature.
Working as a law enforcing agency, he realised the need to write something about the rule of law on the principles of natural justice consisting of a brief note on "The Village Administration with reference to the Mantpur (Village Authority in hill areas) Act, 1956" as inspired by his father.
The author considered that the principles of natural justice are the right topic both for the law enforcing agency and the village administration of the hills which he mentions in the book.
The book talks about "The Principles of Natural Justice, The investigation of Crime, The investigation under ND & PS Act, The Manipur (Village Authority in hill areas) Act, 1956, offences triable by a Village Council and A Reflection and comment" .
