Blessing ceremony for N Merina conducted

Kakching, December 29 2024: A blessing ceremony was organised by Grace Cottage Cultural & Educational Development Foundation (Grace Cottage Academy) on Sunday for its class IX student Naorem Merina, who will participate at the 31st National Children's Science Congress 2024 to be organised by Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal at Ravindra Bhavan Conventional Centre, Bhopal, MP from January 3 to 6, 2025 .

The programme was attend ed by school's founder principal Kshetrimayum Chaoba, teachers and students.

It may be mentioned that out of 10 students selected to represent the state at Bhopal event, N Merina and Kshetrimayum Purnaraj of Kakching Higher Secondary School, are from Kakching district.

Merina, daughter of N Luk-hoi of Kakching Ningthou Leikai, will present her project named 'Reprocessing the Waste of Bamboo Strips into Eco Friendly Rope', while class XI student Ksh Purnaraj's project is based on 'Study on Medicinal Floral Species in the Potential Biodiversity Heritage Site, Angaan Ching' .
