Induction prog of Tamenglong College held

Tamenglong, November 26 2021: Tamenglong College on Friday conducted an induction programme for its BA and B.Sc 1st semester students.

Moderators Aronga Gangmei, guest lecturer (Sociology department) and NG Tuakeulung, assistant professor (English), formally opened the event.

The programme was or ganised to make new students feel comfortable in the new environment of higher education and to inculcate in them the spirit of competition and oneness.

In his address, Dr N Somorendro, assistant professor (Political Science), encouraged the students to climb higher and higher in life with perseverance and faith in God while Dr N Daimei briefed the students about the college and, its progress since its establishment.

The rules and regulations of the college were highlighted by IQAC/NAAC coordinator Namsurei T Kamei, assistant professor (Economics).

Maliangjinliu Panmei, associate professor (History), stressed the importance of having goals in life and working accordingly with full dedication.

Heads of departments of all subjects briefed the students about their respective subjects and the advantages of Choosing such subjects.

the programme ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Ngamtinlun Touthang, assistant professor (Political Science) .
