Public meet bats for upgrade of Ngaikhong school

Bishnupur, October 23 2024: A public meeting held at Ngaikhong bazar mandap on Wednesday, deliberated on the role of Ngaikhong High School in imparting complete education to students of Ngaikhong Khullen.

The meeting jointly organised by All Clubs' Coordinating Committee, Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) and Ngaikhong High School SMDC was held with ex-CoHSEM chairman Dr Lamabam Mahendra, Ngaikhonghead master Yanglem Prem, Ngaikhong GP administrative Committee chairman M Bala, DESAM president Mayengbam Somorjit and Ngaikhong ZP member Kh Sanamatum as the presidium members.

In his address, Mayengbam Somorjit called upon all residents of Ngaikhong Khullen to contribute his/her mite for welfare of the students and uplifting of Ngaikhong High School.

He also pointed out the need for the Education Department to focus on development of school, stating that a society can only progress when its education sector is strong.

Speaking at the discourse, Coordinating Committee general coordinator Takhellambam Surjit Mangang stressed the need for collective effort of Ngaikhong Khullen residents to transform the High School as one of best not only in Bishnupur district but in the entire state.
