Relief items distributed in C-zones, distressed citizens

Imphal, May 20 2021: Intending candidate in Wangkhem AC Kharibam Jivan on Wednesday distributed edible items to households of Charangpat Mamang, Icham Khunou, Waithou and Charangpat Maning, all under Wangkhem AC that have been declared as containment zones.

BJP Kishan Morcha VP and medical cell convenor Dr Ksh Kala also handed over edible items to members of Covid-19 Task Force for further distribution to households of Khundrakpam constituency that have been notified as virus zone.

Meanwhile, under the initiative of ex-MLA of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC, Langthabal Phuramakhong Development Committee distributed edible items to every family residing in and around Langthabal Phuramakhong so as to lessen some of the inconveniences faced by people due to Covid-19 second wave.

Intending candidate in Lilong AC MD Anuwar Hussain too distributed edible items to households that have been demarcated as containment zones under the constituency and also to families who have lost their members to Covid-19.Meanwhile, Nongmeibung Apunba Meira Lup president Nongmaithem Beni Leima handed over edible items to 15 widows of the locality.
