Workshop on Manipur Tourism Policy concludes

Imphal, April 20 2022: A two-day workshop on Manipur Tourism Policy, 2022 culminated on Wednesday with many resource persons and experts exchanging their views and experiences about the tourism potentials in the state.

Tourism director W Ibohal Singh said that Manipur is blessed with huge tourism potential.

"We need to cooperate with every section of people including government and non-government functionaries," he said.

The tourism department is also planning to organise Manipur Sports Tourism Festival as a mark to encourage and inspire sport talents of the state, he added.

The closing occasion held in Imperial hall, Hotel Classic Grande, Chingmeirong was attended by professionals and resource persons including different stakeholders.

During the technical gathering, interaction and brain storming session was also conducted as a part of the workshop.

All Manipur Polo Association president Dr K Saratchandra, Shija Hospitals & Research Institute MD Dr Kh Palin, Tourism deputy director Lanjoy Thoudam, Manipur Start Up consultant Jagat Thoudam and others also attended the event.
