Imphal, June 15 2022: Ahead of the upcoming joint survey to be conducted by the Forest and Revenue departments at Kangpokpi-Kanglatongbi Reserved Forest Range, a consultation and advocacy workshop for village chiefs, CSOs and other bodies on Forest Rights Act and Indian Forest Act will be held on June 16 at 2 pm at Multipurpose Hall of Kangpokpi DC Office.

In a notification, Kangpokpi deputy commissioner Kengoo Zuringla advised all concerted CSOs, village chiefs/chairman to attend the said workshop in time.

Kangpokpi divisional forest officer and sub-divisional officers of Kangpokpi Champhai, T Waichong and Saitu Gamphazol will attend the workshop as resource persons.
