Imphal, May 13 2022: Special Judge (ND&PS), Senapati on Friday remanded a 23-year-old drug peddler to judicial remand for 15 days.

The accused Paoginmang Kipgen, son of Janglam Kipgen of D Phaihel village was arrested along with 12 grams of brown sugar concealed in a soap case from Saparmeina Bazar on May 11 around 11:30 am by a mobile police team led by SI Seiginlen Kipgen.

The special public prosecutor prayed for remanding the accused in judicial custody in order to enable smooth investigation of the case.

On perusal of the sub mission, the court sent the accused person to judicial remand till May 27 with the instruction to produce him before the court on May 27 .
