Intending candidate launches Thambal campaign

Imphal, November 12 2021: BJP's intending candidate in Keishamthong assembly constituency Laishom Santosh (Bony) launched his Thambal campaign from his Keishamthong Laishom Leirak residence here on Friday.

Speaking at the event, Santosh expressed confidence that BJP will win over 40 seats in the 2022 state assembly election and the Biren government will return.

He nailed BJP for its commitment and efforts to empower women and said that appointment of A Sharda as the party's state president is part of BJP's policy on this line.

He also congratulated the Padmashri and Padma Vibhusan awardees from the state.

Unlike past governments of other parties, several union ministers are visiting the state to assess developmental projects and such activities of the party only strengthen public trust, he said while urging the public to support him in the 2022 election.
