Imphal, December 10 2021: Uripok AC, which is located near the heart of Imphal City, continues to face the biggest man-made flood every monsoon season, said BJP intending candidate Khumbongmayum Suresh.

Speaking on the sidelines of a distribution function of PMJAY and CMHT cards to beneficiaries held at Paona Brajabashi Shanglen, Iroishemba on Friday; Suresh informed that 70 percent of the constituency does not have access to safe drinking water.

Thus, there is the need to construct a new water reservoir aside from the water reservoir at Iroishemba for supplying water to every household.

In addition, despite being located close to the Khwairamband Keithel (market), the constituency has the largest population of economically underprivileged families in the state.

Stating that the BJP government has taken up numerous schemes for the welfare of the people, he assured of delivering the benefits of the said schemes to the people of Uripok as a sincere BJP worker.
