Jiribam, November 10 2024: The 2nd Mangsatabam Nila and Bidhu Memorial Meritorious Award 2024 was presented to Lairikyengbam Suraj of Maheikhulen, Bidyanagar in honour of receiving gold medal in chemistry from Royal Global University, Assam.

The award distribution programme at Maheikhulen Benevolent Club ground, on Sunday jointly organised by Mangsatabam Nila and Bidhu Memorial Meritorious Award Organising Committee and Benevolent Club was attended by Hilghat Gram Panchayat ex-pradhan L Samarendra as chief guest, Jiribam Higher Secondary School retired principal L Ranjitkumar as president, award donor L Imochouba as guest of honour and award recipient Suraj as special guest.

The award consists of cash, trophy and shawl.
