Kakching, April 09 2022:
International Human Rights Protection and Anti-Corruption Bureau (IHRPACB), India-Manipur State and Anjuman president ML Zulfiqar Alam Sheikh has said that police action during land demarcation process at 44-Yaithibi Loukol on Friday severely affected Muslim prayer and such disturbance particularly during Ramzan month is not appreciable.
According to a statement issued by Zulfiqar Alam, Muslims across the world are observing fast during the month of Ramzan and this is not exception for Muslims settling nearby Yaithibi Loukol.
However, deployment of huge police force for the demarca-tion process at Yaithibi Loukol and their excessive action affected the Friday Namaz as well as Ramz-an prayer, he said, adding that the demarcation process could have been taken up on any given day other than Friday.
He then appealed to government and authority concerned to take up action which does not disturb normalcy and welfare of the people.
