Imphal, July 07 2022: A 15-day workshop cum exhibition on Traditional String Puppetry and production of a folk tale story "Sandrembi Cheishra", organised by Moppet Decoration & Cultural Centre under the aegis of Ministry of Culture concluded at the centre's Yumnam Huidrom Thiyam Leishangkhong premises in Imphal West district on Thursday.

In a release, Centre's secretary G Basanta Sharma informed that the valedictory programme was attended by L Bihari Singh, Puppetry guru G Shija Devi and Thongkhong Municipal Council councillor L Sanajaoba Singh as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

In all, 20 artists and five gurus namely Y Thambalngou Singh, Y Budhi Singh, G Jugeshwor Sharma, G Shija Devi and H Chandra Singh participated in the programme, the secretary informed.
