Indian Army organises youth empowerment prog

Imphal, October 05 2024: To ensure holistic development of the youth and to empower the young minds, Indian Army organised Interactive Youth Empowerment Programmes at St George School, Moreh, Tengnoupal district and Manipur Public School, Koirengei on Saturday.

In a release, PRO Defence informed that the events included motivational talk by an Army officer who inspired the students to set and achieve their goals.

The students were also enlightened about the various career opportunities in the Armed Forces, government schemes for youth empowerment and scholarships schemes available to facilitate higher education, competitive examination preparations, it added.

The release further mentioned that the programmes were participated by 300 students, who witnessed a lively interactive session wherein the young audience was educated on the important aspects like maintaining healthy lifestyle, financial knowledge and planning and the importance of striking a correct balance between studies, sports and extra-curricular activities for all round growth and development.
