Imphal, November 02 2021: The Sixth World Ayurveda Day was observed across the state on the theme Ayurveda for Poshan on Tuesday.

Directorate of AYUSH and State AYUSH Society Manipur observed the Day at IMA hall in the presence of AYUSH director Dr A Guneshwar Sharma, former director Y Lukhoi, additional director Dr M Shamjal and office coordinator S Tondang, among others.

Similarly, Ayurvedic Doctors' Association of Manipur observed World Ayurveda Day at Yumnam Kesho Singh community hall, Naoremthong.

The programme was held with IAS (Retd) K Radhakumar Singh as chief guest, AYUSH state nodal officer NHM Dr K Benedict as president and Family Welfare director (Retd) Dr P Shyamsundar Singh and MO (AYUSH) NHM K Ranita as guests of honour.

A medical camp was also organised at the venue.
