Imphal, November 30 2021: A one day legal awareness programme jointly organised by Legal Aid Clinic, Manipur Central Jail, Imphal and District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Imphal West under the sponsorship of Manipur State Legal Services Authority was held on Tuesday at Observation Home, Takyel.

As a part of the programme held with District and Sessions Judge, Imphal West Aribam Guneshwar Sharma, Imphal West DLSA secretary Moirangthem Hi-ralata, deputy director (social welfare) Konsam Saroja Devi and programme officer (social welfare) Mala Lisam as the presidium members, advocates Chongtham Momon and Thiyam Ra-jkishore delivered lectures on:'Child Marriage and Right to Education'' and 'Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act' respectively.

Aribam Guneshwar, who is also Imphal West DLSA chairman, donated utility items such as san-itizer, face mask, blankets, etc, for the juvenile inmates and staff members of the Home.
