Moreh, August 27 2018:
After analysing the works of two Power Companies of Manipur namely MSPCL & MSPDCL -The Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for providing Electricity to the interior Villages of India before the month of December 2018 will be fail in Manipur , particularly in Tengnoupal District.
More than 38 months the villages named as Border Bongjang Village , Kwatha Khunou Village , N.Satang , L.Molphei and some other villages which lies at Indo-Myanmar Border in Tengnoupal District has not been getting Electricity.
The villagers approach to the Power Sub-station at Moreh and also to the Office of MSPDCL which is at Moreh Town for several times since from 2015's July , there is no positive response given by the Electricity Department to the villagers for new installation of Transformer of the Villages.
This was learnt after a team of reporter including our correspondent Lucky Singh visited the village yesterday.
As learnt by the media team, Villager have complained many times to the concerned Departments , But still complaint and request of the villagers to the concern Department for several times has not been converted into action by the staff of the MSPDCL.
The Transformer was reported to have been blasted on July , 2015 .
The 11th Assam Rifle which is at Moreh had help them by providing Solar Lamps to the villagers as to prevent from darkness in theirs houses and villages.
On June 4 that since the State Power Minister Thongam Bishwajit Singh have inaugurated the 132/33KV power Sub-station at Chikim Village , Moreh as to provide Electricity to all the nearby Villages of Moreh and also to fulfill the vision of the Prime Minister for providing Electricity to the Villages.
But still the staffs of two companies MSPCL & MSPDCL had not started provinding electricity and also installation of new transformer of various villages of Tengnoupal District particularly in Moreh Block.
B.Bongjang , Kwatha Khunou , N.Satang , L.Molphei are the Villages along the Indo-Myanmar Border near BP No.80 ,81 and 82 and also 15Km Far from Moreh Town.
The Villagers had been facing incontinences due to negligence from the part of the concern Department.
The Chief of B.Bongjang Village Ngamson Baite request the Government of Manipur and also to the Government of India for new installation of Transformer for their Villages to provide Electricity to the Villages.
