Imphal, July 27 2013 : The 9th edition of Meetei Mayek journal, Pandam was released in a function held at the con-ference hall of Agriculture Department today.

Agriculture Department Director G Shamu Kabui, Pandam Advisory Board member Namoijam Tomba, Agriculture Department De-puty Director Ph Rajendro and Loumee Sinmee Apunba Lup President Laishram Shyam were present at the occasion.

Speaking at the occasion as chief guest, G Shamu Kabui said that the State Government is putting in effort to bring out Agriculture Land Policy under the guidance of Chief Minister O Ibobi and Agriculture Commissioner Rajesh Agarwal.

A draft report is being made on diminishing of agriculture land and menace of flood, he said.

The Department is also deliberating on market policy, he added.
