Fresh surrender drama likely : RPF

Imphal, September 25 2012: The Indian regime in cahoots with the State Government has made all preparations to stage another surrender drama in the next couple of days, claimed a press release issued by the proscribed RPF's Secretary Publicity T Leisemba.

The Indian military, particularly Assam Rifles have been working through their agents to mobilise former revolutionary cadres who have retired to civilian life due to health condition or other compelling factors as well as UG cadres out on bail.

Those who refuses to take part in the surrender drama are being threatened saying that they would be killed any time.

Some of them who hate the word 'surrender' have left their homes and moved to far off places for fear of backlash from the Indian military, alleged RPF.

To mobilise these former cadres who have retired to civilian life, the Indian military has been paying Rs 30,000 each to their agents.

Many parents, unable to bear the mental torture and persistent threats of the agents, have handed over their sons to the Indian military even if they are aware that it means sending their sons to the gallows.

The recent cases of Takhellambam Gobin and Oinam Halloba alias Newson were stark reminders about how the security force eliminate surrendered cadres in cold blood.

It is now becoming clear that IG AR (S) is a graveyard for surrenderees.

Any one who went to IG AR (S) cannot be expected to return alive.

Their execution is only a matter of time, the outfit alleged.

One is killed even if one surrenders.

And if one does not surrender, the whole family cannot take a breath peacefully because of constant threats and harassment by the military and the State force.

In this way, the Government of India has been pursuing a long term policy to turn Manipur into a land of psychiatric patients.

The surrender drama which is likely to be enacted in the next couple of days may be participated by around 50 people, and they include many who have participated in earlier surrender dramas with the faces covered.

Some of them are participating in the surrender drama under duress because they are being threatened with extreme consequences.

But the Indian military would not disclose the names, addresses and other details of the so-called surrenderees even though some State Government officials would also be present at the surrender drama.

Cautioning that some surrenderees would be made scapegoats every time the PLA kills 4/5 Indian military personnel, the outfit said that it's time for the revolutionary groups and the mass to discuss the path surrenderees and former revolutionaries should take.

If the people still have faith in the puppet political leaders, one can count the days when the tragedy that befell on the families of Gobin and Newson would fall on some other families.

"The Indian military is able to slaughter our sons and daughters like animals because of certain weakness in our people but RPF/PLA would never allow our immature youngsters to be slaughtered by the Indian military and the State force", it asserted.

The strategy of murder was chalked out by the Government of India and it is being assisted by the State.

Pointing out that there are definite rules to punish a guilty man in all the developed countries of the world, the outfit called upon all the people as well as revolutionary groups to deliberate on the absurd rules framed by India allegedly to slaughter the people of Manipur.
