Joykisan suggests all parties meet

Thangmeiband AC MLA Kh Joykisan has appealed to the Government to call a meeting of all political parties in order to bring a solution to the economic blockade called by the All Tribal Students Union (ATSUM).
Speaking to media at his residence in Khoyathong today, Kh Joykisan made the appeal and added that calling an all political parties' meeting to bring a solution to the demand made by the ATSUM will be a right step considering the impact of the economic blockade in the State.
He also appealed to all supporters of the economic blockade to call it off in view of the hardship faced by the people of the State.
The public, specially the daily wage earners, have already started to face the impact of the indefinite economic blockade called by the ATSUM demanding a special Assembly session of the Manipur Legislative Assembly to table the Manipur (Hill Areas) ADC Bill 2021 which has been recommended by Hill Areas Committee, he added.
He questioned whether the Manipur (Hill Areas) ADC Bill 2021 is unanimously accepted by all the Members of HAC which comprises of the MLAs from hill areas from all the parties including BJP, NPP, NPF and Congress, and whether their agreement is a reflection of their respective party's support for the Bill.
Kh Joykisan further asked whether party presidents and legislators have given permission to the Members of HAC.
Kh Joykisan also sought clarification from the political parties whether they had given permission to their MLAs who are members of HAC regarding the Manipur (Hill Areas) ADC Bill 2021 .
