Manipur today observed the Anti-Terrorism Day (Day Against Terrorism) in commemoration of the bomb blast attack of May 21, 1991 at Tamil Nadu at which the then Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi was killed.
In the State-level observation that was held at the Banquet Hall of 1st Manipur Rifles today, chief guest CM O Ibobi said that observing such a day that upholds the idea of standing against terrorism is very appropriate in the present context of Manipur.
He urged every person of the society to fight against terrorism at their individual levels also and not to hand over the task to Government alone.

Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, top civil and police officials also attended the function.
