RIMS in top 50 institutions of country

Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) director Professor A Santa has expressed elation over RIMS finding a spot in the top 50 medical institutions and colleges of the country.
Speaking during inauguration of a new Labor Room of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at RIMS on Wednesday, Prof Santa informed that the Labor Room has been improved and will ensure maximum hygiene for expecting mothers and newborns.
Ten ACs have been installed and there are adequate rooms for doctors and staff, he said while appreciating doctors, nurses, health workers and media persons over RIMS featuring the 46th position of the National Institutional Ranking Framework, NIRF Ranking 2022, of Ministry of Human resource Development.
Appealing to doctors, nurses, and health workers to help in improving RIMS further so as to earn a well-deserved spot in the health care sector of India and the world, Prof Santa assured of continuing to work for mending all inadequacies regarding health care.
The inaugural function was also attended
by RIMS MS Prof Nepram Sanjib Singh and deputy director (Admin) K Doungel.
