Moreover, indefinite blockade on Imphal-Moreh highway has been laun- ched at Kyamgei.

The family members, the JAC and people of Kyamgei carried away the corpse in a truck which was followed by many four-wheelers and auto-rickshaws.
On reaching Chingama-khong, the motorcade turned towards Pishum and then reached Dr Laithangbam Bi-dhumukhi's home at Haobam Marak Keisam Leikai.

34 year old Leimapokpam (O) Roma of Kyamgei Ma-ning Leikai suffered from breathing difficulties in the night of July 15 and she died at JNIMS.
On July 9, she went underwent surgical operation for delivery of her third child at JNIMS and she was discharged from the hospital on July 14 .
The JAC constituted the in connection with the death of Roma has been contending that Roma died due to negligence on the part of doctors who attended to her.
Meanwhile, acting on a complaint filed by the family of Dr Bidhumukhi, Singjamei Police picked up and deposited the corpse of Roma at RIMS mortuary.
A late report informed that the JAC and family members claimed the corpse from RIMS mortuary in late evening.
On the other hand, people of Kyamgei blocked Imphal-Moreh highway between Heijigang Super Market and Langthabal Kunja.
All the shops and markets located along the highway stretch were forced to shut.
JAC convenor Chinga-kham Inaobi said that they placed the corpse at Dr Bi-dhumukhi's courtyard for her arrogance and insensitivity.
Had she tendered an apology and offered some help to the surviving children of Roma, people's anger would have not reached such an uncompromising level.
Saying that the JAC has already submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister demanding termination of all the doctors responsible for the death of Roma, Inaobi maintained that the JAC would stick to this stance.
The act of placing the corpse at Dr Bidhumukhi's courtyard had no intention to create conflict between Kyamgei and Haobam Marak, he clarified.
The protest agitation of blocking Imphal-Moreh highway would continue until and unless an understanding is worked out, he added.
Roma is survived by her husband Sunday, two sons and a daughter.
