Addressing the media at the Manipur Press Club after returning from Delhi, Rojita said that she submitted a 20-point memorandum to the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister on March 22, but it wasn't officially received.
She said that she went to Delhi on behalf of all the IDPs and submitted the memorandum again to the President, Prime Minister, Union Home Minister, Finance Minister, Defence Minister, Human Resource Development Minister, different Ministries and National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) .
Stating that many IDPs continue to suffer in relief camps deprived of their Constitutional and human rights, she said that she urged the Central leadership to address key issues, including mental trauma counselling, quality education facilities, land protection for Meitei IDPs, employment opportunities, and allowances for displaced students in the memorandum.
Rojita said that she is hopeful the Central leadership will respond positively to her demands.
She said she received a warm welcome while submitting the memorandum at Rashtrapati Bhavan, and IDPs from various relief camps also gave her a warm welcome at Bir Tikendrajit Airport upon her return to Manipur.
Rojita's house at Churachandpur was razed to the ground with explosives, the video shoot of which went viral on the social media.
