Imphal, February 12 2022: The renovated office of the Zeliangrong Union (Assam Manipur Nagaland) was inaugurated today at Kakhulong, Paona Bazar.

Today's inaugural function was graced by Faumei Gonglin, DIG Headquarter (Administration), Manipur Police and president of ZU (AMN) as the chief guest and president respectively.

After performing the customary ritual and offering sacred wine to the Almighty, Faumei Gonglin cut the ribbon and inaugurated the office.

Speaking on the occasion, Faumei Gonglin recalled the significant contributions and dedication of the leaders and forefathers of Zeliangrong community who strove earnestly for the unification of the Zeliangrong people resulting in the formation of the union and all should acknowledge their countless efforts.

He also expressed belief that the Zeliangrong Union will play a major role in bringing in a peaceful and progressive society.
