RK Imo calls for resignation of MLAs who withdrew support from State Govt

Imphal, August 08 2023: While requesting all legislators who raised the demand for separate administration to attend the Assembly session in Imphal, MLA of Sagolband Assembly Constituency RK Imo has asserted that the legislators who have withdrawn their support from the State Government should ideally resign from the August House.

According to a statement issued by the MLA's media advisor, MLA RK Imo said that all legislators should discuss the prevailing issue on the floor of the August House with the goal of trying to resolve the matter together.

The statement added that the aforementioned MLAs should not fear anything as the Central Government and State Government will provide the tightest of security measures.

"We all will ensure the protection of each other", it reassured.

However, those legislators from the political party who have raised the demand for separate administration and also withdrew their support from the State Government should ideally resign from the August House as they should not be drawing salary from the State Government/Assembly, enjoy all the perks of the government and yet speak against the State of Manipur, the MLA suggested through the statement.
