Senapati, March 05 2014 :
Reacting against the comment of BJP candidate Prof Gangmumei Kamei that the Naga People's Front (NPF) is a Nagaland based political party, the NPF, Manipur State said today that any political party launched in a particular State does not mean the party belongs to that State.
Driving home its point, the NPF, Manipur State said most of the political parties were launched from New Delhi but they are not considered Delhi based parties.
"AAP, BJP, Congress, Janata Dal, CPI, CPI(M), etc., etc., are not considered Delhi based or Kolkata based parties," cited the NPF, Manipur State.
To another comment of Prof Gangmumei Kamei that Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio 'is no super-man', the NPF, Manipur State said no one has claimed Rio as a super-man.
"Prof Gangmumei Kamei should not feel un-nerved with the meteoric rise of NPF leader Neiphiu Rio," it said.
The NPF, Manipur State further said that Neiphiu Rio is 'no super-man but very much he is now a regional leader'.
"Neiphiu Rio is the convenor of North East Regional Parties Front (NERPF)," reminded the NPF, Manipur State to Prof Gangmumei Kamei.
Meanwhile, the NPF, Manipur State belittles Prof Gangmumei Kamei saying he is a 'confused person'.
"At one point of time Gangmumei Kamei would speak high of regionalism saying regional parties could only save our people and region but today his honey-lips are showering sweeties on the national party," stated the NPF, Manipur State.
Prof Gangmumei Kamei was one of the founders of now-defunct Federal Party of Manipur (FPM) and now he is contesting in the Manipur Outer Parliamentary seat on the BJP ticket.
The NPF then accused Prof Gangmumei Kamei of 'power-hungry' party hopper.
"He is only for power hopping from one political party to the other but even the kids realised these days about his fickle-minded personality," alleged the NPF, Manipur State.
