'Confusion created'

The allegation raised by the maternal side of Naorem Sanjita on the circumstances which led to the demise of the woman has created confusion among the people, said Chingshubam Engenthaba who used to be the convenor of the JAC (now dissolved )formed in connection with the case.
It may be mentioned that an uncle of Sanjita had on October 29 claimed that Sanjita (35), wife of Dipak of Kakwa Naorem Leikai died of subdural hematoma (head injury) as per the post mortem report.
Speaking to the media at Manipur Press Club today, Engenthaba continued that both the maternal and in-laws of Sanjita assisted in taking the woman to RIMS Hospital on September 12 morning.
Sanjita died on September 18 after staying on ventilation for seven days in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit of RIMS Hospital.
He also said that both the families of Sanjita were present while meeting the Chief Minister after her demise and on closing the case after reaching an agreement.
The JAC was dissolved after the case was closed.
